Analysis of the service age groups of Kingsley in 2021 compared to Western Australia shows that there was a similar proportion of people in the younger age groups (0 to 17 years) and a higher proportion of people in the older age groups (60+ years).
Overall, 22.4% of the population was aged between 0 and 17, and 27.3% were aged 60 years and over, compared with 22.6% and 21.8% respectively for Western Australia.
The major differences between the age structure of Kingsley and Western Australia were:
