Dominant groups
Analysis of the family blending in Wagga Wagga City in 2021 compared to Regional NSW shows that there was a lower proportion of step families as well as a lower proportion of blended families. Overall, 10.2% of total couple families with children were step families, and 4.9% were blended families, compared with 11.1% and 4.8% respectively for Regional NSW.
