Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in North Perth in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (970 people or 15.0%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (923 people or 14.3%)
  • Education and Training (627 people or 9.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,520 people in total or 39.1% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Vincent employed 14.6% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 14.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 8.8% in Education and Training.

The major difference between the jobs held by the population of North Perth and the City of Vincent was:
