Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Tamworth Regional Council in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (3,398 people or 24.0%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (2,686 people or 18.9%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (2,641 people or 18.6%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 8,725 people in total or 61.5% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Tamworth Regional Council - Total population employed 17.6% in Professionals; 12.6% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 11.5% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
