Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the male population in the City of Sydney in 2021 compared to Oxford Street Village Area shows that there was a lower proportion of males holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a higher proportion of males with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 69.0% of the male population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 21.1% had no qualifications, compared with 71.5% and 18.7% respectively for Oxford Street Village Area.

The major differences between qualifications held by the male population of the City of Sydney and Oxford Street Village Area were:
