Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Haymarket in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (481 females or 25.3%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (380 females or 20.0%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (216 females or 11.4%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,077 females in total or 56.6% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Kings Cross employed 38.3% in Professionals; 8.8% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 16.0% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Haymarket and Kings Cross were:
