Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Waterloo - Zetland in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (1,295 females or 16.8%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,032 females or 13.4%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (764 females or 9.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,091 females in total or 40.1% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Erskineville - Eveleigh employed 19.1% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 14.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 9.6% in Financial and Insurance Services.
