Dominant groups

Analysis of individual income levels in Potts Point in 2021 compared to the City of Sydney shows that there was a higher proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 32.4% of the population earned a high income, and 10.2% earned a low income, compared with 25.6% and 20.6% respectively for the City of Sydney.

The major differences between Potts Point's individual incomes and the City of Sydney's individual incomes were:
