Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Mountain Creek in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,127 people or 17.9%)
  • Retail Trade (727 people or 11.6%)
  • Construction (715 people or 11.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,569 people in total or 40.9% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Nambour Activity Centre employed 20.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.1% in Retail Trade; and 11.1% in Construction.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Mountain Creek and Nambour Activity Centre were:
