Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Peregian Springs in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (575 females or 22.9%)
  • Education and Training (343 females or 13.7%)
  • Retail Trade (324 females or 12.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,242 females in total or 49.5% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Bli Bli - Rosemount and District employed 27.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.6% in Education and Training; and 11.9% in Retail Trade.
