Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the non-English speaking resident population in City of Ryde in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (13,252 people or 39.6%)
- Managers (4,571 people or 13.7%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (4,404 people or 13.2%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 22,227 people in total or 66.4% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, the total population in the City of Ryde employed 37.1% in Professionals; 15.8% in Managers; and 14.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the non-English speaking population of the City of Ryde and the total population in the City of Ryde were:
- A larger percentage of people employed as Professionals (39.6% compared to 37.1%)
- A smaller percentage of people employed as Managers (13.7% compared to 15.8%)
