An analysis of the jobs held by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resident population in City of Rockingham in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Total employed persons aged 15+ (1,213 people or 100.0%)
- Technicians and Trades Workers (239 people or 19.7%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (194 people or 16.0%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,646 people in total or 135.7% of the employed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resident population.
The major differences between the occupations held by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population of the City of Rockingham and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander of Greater Perth were:
- A larger percentage of people employed as Technicians and Trades Workers (19.7% compared to 14.7%)
