Analysis of the household/family types in the North Casino District in 2021 compared to Richmond Valley Council shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 37.6% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 7.1% were one-parent families, compared with 21.1% and 11.7% respectively for Richmond Valley Council.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children.
