Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Kingston District Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (256 males or 44.8%)
  • Construction (77 males or 13.5%)
  • Manufacturing (33 males or 5.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 366 males in total or 64.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Naracoorte-Lucindale Council area employed 34.0% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 10.2% in Construction; and 17.1% in Manufacturing.
