Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 116 people who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Rydalmere, compared with 1,306 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the residents in Rydalmere in 2021, compared to the City of Parramatta, shows that 3.5% used public transport, while 39.2% used a private vehicle, compared with 7.2% and 31.6% respectively in the City of Parramatta.
The major differences in persons between the method of travel to work of Rydalmere and the City of Parramatta were:
