Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Wallsend in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (738 males or 24.4%)
  • Professionals (552 males or 18.3%)
  • Labourers (386 males or 12.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,676 males in total or 55.5% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Rankin Park employed 20.6% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 24.8% in Professionals; and 8.8% in Labourers.
