Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Bar Beach in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (62 males or 17.2%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (57 males or 15.8%)
  • Construction (47 males or 13.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 166 males in total or 46.0% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, New South Wales employed 6.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.3% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 14.1% in Construction.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Bar Beach and New South Wales were:
