Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in East Side in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (181 people or 15.7%)
  • Retail Trade (125 people or 10.8%)
  • Construction (117 people or 10.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 423 people in total or 36.7% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the Rural City of Murray Bridge employed 14.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.0% in Retail Trade; and 8.1% in Construction.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of East Side and the Rural City of Murray Bridge were:
