Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Bribie Island in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (661 females or 21.7%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (632 females or 20.8%)
  • Professionals (577 females or 19.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,870 females in total or 61.5% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Ningi employed 19.9% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; 23.9% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 16.1% in Professionals.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Bribie Island and Ningi were:
