Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Deception Bay in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Community and Personal Service Workers (974 females or 25.9%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (727 females or 19.4%)
  • Professionals (592 females or 15.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,293 females in total or 61.1% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Clontarf employed 21.5% in Community and Personal Service Workers; 22.9% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 21.5% in Professionals.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Deception Bay and Clontarf were:
