Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Wamuran in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (195 females or 24.2%)
  • Education and Training (86 females or 10.7%)
  • Retail Trade (81 females or 10.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 362 females in total or 44.9% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Brisbane City LGA employed 23.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.8% in Education and Training; and 8.6% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Wamuran and Brisbane City LGA were:
