Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Morayfield in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,650 people or 15.1%)
  • Retail Trade (1,288 people or 11.8%)
  • Construction (1,272 people or 11.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 4,210 people in total or 38.5% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Caboolture (West) employed 16.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.9% in Retail Trade; and 12.3% in Construction.
