Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Mango Hill in 2021 compared to Rural Planning Area shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 45.6% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 14.8% were one-parent families, compared with 40.0% and 7.6% respectively for Rural Planning Area.

There were a higher proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 14.0% compared to 12.8% in Rural Planning Area while the proportion of couples without children was 18.4% compared to 32.7% in Rural Planning Area.
