Dominant groups

Analysis of the need for assistance of males in the City of Moreton Bay compared to Clontarf shows that there was a lower proportion of males who reported needing assistance with core activities.

Overall, 7.1% of the male population reported needing assistance with core activities, compared with 8.2% for Clontarf.

The major differences in the male age groups reporting a need for assistance in Redcliffe Rail Planning Area and Clontarf were:

  • A larger percentage of males aged 60 to 64 (7.9% compared to 5.7%)
  • A smaller percentage of males aged 65 to 69 (9.6% compared to 13.1%)
