Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Stroud and surrounds in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (165 people or 14.0%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (163 people or 13.8%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (129 people or 10.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 457 people in total or 38.8% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Pacific Palms - Coomba Park area employed 14.6% in Construction; 3.5% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; and 13.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Stroud and surrounds and Pacific Palms - Coomba Park area were:
