Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the non-English speaking resident population in City of Melville in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (3,783 people or 35.4%)
- Managers (1,426 people or 13.3%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (1,246 people or 11.7%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 6,455 people in total or 60.4% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, the total population in the City of Melville employed 33.2% in Professionals; 15.3% in Managers; and 13.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the non-English speaking population of the City of Melville and the total population in the City of Melville were:
