Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Coodanup in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (177 people or 13.9%)
  • Retail Trade (144 people or 11.3%)
  • Construction (130 people or 10.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 451 people in total or 35.4% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Mandurah employed 13.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.7% in Retail Trade; and 10.0% in Construction.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Coodanup and the City of Mandurah were:
