Dominant groups
Analysis of the family blending in Plainland and District in 2021 compared to Lockyer Valley Regional Council shows that there was a higher proportion of step families as well as a higher proportion of blended families. Overall, 15.8% of total couple families with children were step families, and 6.2% were blended families, compared with 11.5% and 5.6% respectively for Lockyer Valley Regional Council.
