Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Lindfield in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (944 people or 18.0%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (738 people or 14.0%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (659 people or 12.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,341 people in total or 44.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Ku-ring-gai Council area employed 17.5% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 14.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 11.4% in Financial and Insurance Services.
