Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in City of Kingston in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (21,568 people or 26.5%)
  • Managers (12,556 people or 15.4%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (11,486 people or 14.1%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 45,610 people in total or 56.1% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Aspendale employed 29.3% in Professionals; 17.5% in Managers; and 13.3% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of the City of Kingston and Aspendale were:
