Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Camperdown in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (410 people or 18.5%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (331 people or 15.0%)
  • Education and Training (261 people or 11.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,002 people in total or 45.3% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Inner West Council area employed 15.8% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 12.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 10.6% in Education and Training.
