Analysis of the household/family types in McKinnon in 2021 compared to Carnegie shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 44.2% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 12.6% were one-parent families, compared with 23.8% and 6.4% respectively for Carnegie.
