In 2021, 41.4% of the Croatian speaking population in the G21 Region were born in Australia.

Dominant groups

Analysis of the country of birth of the Croatian speaking population in the G21 Region in 2021 compared to Regional VIC shows that there was a smaller proportion of people born overseas.

Overall, 56.2% of the Croatian speaking population was born overseas, compared with 59.6% for Regional VIC.

The major difference between the countries of birth of the Croatian speaking population in G21 Region and Regional VIC was:

  • A smaller percentage of people born in Croatia (44.8% compared to 49.0%)
