Overall, 28.7% of people reporting a need for assistance were in couple families with child(ren), and 23.4% were in one-parent families, compared with 32.6% and 18.9% respectively for Greater Melbourne.
There was a higher proportion of people reporting a need for assistance in lone person households and a lower proportion in couples without children.
