Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Etheridge (S) in 2021 compared to Queensland shows that 79.8% of the households owned at least one car, while 3.9% did not, compared with 88.6% and 5.5% respectively in Queensland.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 48.6% of the households owned one car; 19.4% owned two cars; and 11.7% owned three cars or more, compared with 34.3%; 35.5% and 18.8% respectively for Queensland.
