Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Cook (S) in 2021 compared to Queensland shows that 73.8% of the households owned at least one car, while 6.8% did not, compared with 88.6% and 5.5% respectively in Queensland.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 41.8% of the households owned one car; 21.0% owned two cars; and 11.0% owned three cars or more, compared with 34.3%; 35.5% and 18.8% respectively for Queensland.
