Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Douglas (S) in 2021 compared to Wujal Wujal Aboriginal (S) shows that 84.1% of the households owned at least one car, while 5.8% did not, compared with 48.8% and 37.2% respectively in Wujal Wujal Aboriginal (S).
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a larger proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 40.6% of the households owned one car; 30.3% owned two cars; and 13.2% owned three cars or more, compared with 39.5%; 5.8% and 3.5% respectively for Wujal Wujal Aboriginal (S).
