Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Tablelands (R) in 2021 compared to Croydon (S) shows that 86.2% of the households owned at least one car, while 3.8% did not, compared with 76.7% and 5.1% respectively in Croydon (S).
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a larger proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 34.0% of the households owned one car; 33.3% owned two cars; and 18.8% owned three cars or more, compared with 36.4%; 23.3% and 17.0% respectively for Croydon (S).
