Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Preston Activity Area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (159 males or 12.1%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (142 males or 10.8%)
  • Construction (125 males or 9.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 426 males in total or 32.3% of the total employed male resident population.
