Dominant groups
Analysis of individual income levels in Thornbury (East) in 2021 compared to Victoria shows that there was a higher proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 18.6% of the population earned a high income, and 27.3% earned a low income, compared with 12.3% and 32.5% respectively for Victoria.
