Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the male population in Western Sydney (LGA) in 2021 compared to the City of Ryde shows that there was a lower proportion of males holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a higher proportion of males with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 51.9% of the male population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 39.5% had no qualifications, compared with 67.4% and 26.1% respectively for the City of Ryde.
