Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Ku-ring-gai Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

- Financial and Insurance Services (4,018 males or 13.4%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (2,567 males or 8.6%)

In comparison, Western Sydney (LGA) employed 8.1% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 5.1% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 5.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Ku-ring-gai Council area and Western Sydney (LGA) were:
