Dominant groups

Analysis of the share of the male population attending educational institutions in Penrith City in 2021 compared to the City of Canterbury Bankstown shows that there was a higher proportion attending primary school, a similar proportion attending secondary school, and a lower proportion engaged in tertiary level education.

Overall, 9.5% of the male population were attending primary school, 6.8% of the male population were attending secondary institutions, and 5.2% were learning at a tertiary level, compared with 8.6%, 7.0% and 7.6% respectively for the City of Canterbury Bankstown.

The major differences between the share of the male population attending learning institutions in Penrith City and the City of Canterbury Bankstown were:
