Dominant groups

Analysis of the car ownership of non-English speakers in Cumberland City Council in 2021 compared to the total population in Cumberland City Council shows that 90.1% were in households that owned at least one car, while 7.9% did not, compared with 84.7% and 7.4% respectively in the total population in Cumberland City Council.

Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion owned just one car; a larger proportion owned two cars; and a larger proportion that owned three cars or more.
