Dominant groups

Analysis of the non-English speaking population in Cumberland City Council in 2021 compared to the total population in Cumberland City Council shows that there was a lower proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) as well as a lower proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 16.6% of the non-English speaking population was aged between 0 and 14, and 11.0% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 19.9% and 12.1% respectively for the total population in Cumberland City Council.
