Dominant groups

Analysis of the family blending in Budgewoi Ward in 2021 compared to Central Coast Council area shows that there was a higher proportion of step families as well as a higher proportion of blended families. Overall, 13.3% of total couple families with children were step families, and 7.1% were blended families, compared with 10.8% and 4.9% respectively for Central Coast Council area.
