Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Rhodes in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (1,160 people or 17.6%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (831 people or 12.6%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (705 people or 10.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,696 people in total or 40.9% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Canada Bay employed 13.4% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 9.7% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 12.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
