Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Camden South in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (320 people or 14.4%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (296 people or 13.3%)
  • Education and Training (294 people or 13.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 910 people in total or 40.9% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Camden Council area employed 12.8% in Construction; 12.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 9.8% in Education and Training.
