Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Clifton Beach in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (256 people or 16.6%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (191 people or 12.4%)
  • Education and Training (159 people or 10.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 606 people in total or 39.4% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Cairns employed 18.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.9% in Accommodation and Food Services; and 8.9% in Education and Training.
