Dominant groups
Analysis of the unpaid child care provided by the non-English speaking population in Bayside Council in 2021 compared to the total population in Bayside Council shows that there was a higher proportion of persons who provided unpaid child care either to their own or to other children. Overall, 22.8% of the non-English speaking population provided unpaid child care, compared with 21.2% for the total population in Bayside Council.
